Career Development Services (CDS) focuses on supporting people who experience barriers to employment by offering person-centered customized employment services, which supports people in their jobs in the community. TVW offers services for job seekers of all abilities and assists them to identify a career path suited to their interests, talents, skills, and abilities.
TVW helps design a personalized employment relationship between jobseekers and employers in a way that meets the needs of both. We promote customized employment techniques that focus on a person’s strengths and support them in their new positions as they meet the needs of their employers.
As an Employment Specialist, you will focus on a person centered approach to provide services such as Discovery, Foundational Job Development, and Job Coaching. You will help support people in maximizing their strengths and eliminating barriers though adaptation and customized training. Sometimes all a person needs is a little support to learn a different way. That is where You, the Employment Specialist, comes in!
